Why I want to help you to retire well

June 25, 20252 min read

Why do I want to help you to retire well? To move into the next stage of your life on your terms?

In the past I’ve been demoralised at work and didn’t think I was able to leave. I’ve experienced redundancy and the stress of finding a new job to pay my rent and didn’t feel in control.

Knowing I wanted to make a change, to have more direct impact, receiving coaching helped me to focus, decide to retrain, leave my job on my terms, and start a business.

I’ve travelled around the world, for myself and for work, which has enriched my life, and yet sometimes home is my happy place.

I’ve had to advocate for my health, accept major surgery when a minor procedure was no longer viable, and as independent as I am, ask for help within my network during my recovery.

I’ve learnt to know the difference between being lonely and being alone, and that for me being lonely can be worse.

I’ve worked hard at building and maintaining relationships and learnt when sometimes to let them go for a healthier emotional life.

This is me. Some of it may resonate, and some may not. We’re all different.

You may leap into this next stage of life with excitement and joy, or it may be a more gradual and cautious process.

There may be hard decisions to take, priorities to set, and trade-offs to make. I want to help you work out what’s right for you and get you there, step by step.

When you’re ready, if you want help, contact me and we’ll have a chat about how we can work together.
